改宗ムスリムの人生（２）

皆さん、アッサラームアレイクム！ 

Assalamualaikum, everyone ! 

「アシュハドゥ　アッラー　イラーハ　イッラッラー ワ　アシュハドゥ　アンナ　ムハンマダン　ラスールッラー 」 

 “Ashhadu alla ilaha illallah wa ashhadu anna muhammad rasulullah”  

これは、これからムスリムとなる方が唱えるシャハーダ（信仰告白）です。 

日本語では以下のような意味になります。 

「私はアッラーのほかにイラー（崇拝の対象）はないことを証言します。 

また、私はムハンマドがアッラーの使徒であることを証言します。」 

 The words above are called the shahadah, and it is required to be pronounced by new Muslims. 

It translates to: “I bear witness that no one deserves to be worshiped except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah” 

2人以上のムスリムの証人の前でこれを唱えれば誰でもムスリムになることができます。 

通常はモスクなどのイスラーム機関でシャハーダを行いますが、

必ずしもモスクにいかなければいけないわけではありません。

特別な儀式や寄付なども必要ありません。 

最も大切なことはこのシャハーダの言葉（カリマ）を心から信じ、

イスラームの教えに従って今後の新しい人生を送る決意を持つことです。

これがただ単に口から出ただけでは意味はありません。

またアッラーは信仰の強制を禁じているため、誰かに唱えることを強制されるのではなく、

自らの意志で行なわれなければなりません。 

Everyone can become a muslim after reciting these words (Kalima) in front of two Muslim witnesses. 

Normally, it is held in Islamic organisation such as masjids, 

but It is not necessary to go to masjids to recite Shahada. 

It is most important to have a sincere belief in it and have a determination to live the rest of your life in accordance with Islam. 

It doesn’t have meaning if it just comes out of your mouth insincerely. 

Since Allah doesn’t allow us to force people to have faith, we have to recite it of our own will. 

“宗教には強制があってはならない。正に正しい道は迷誤から明らかに（分別）されている。それで邪神を退けてアッラーを信仰する者は、決して壊れることのない、堅固な取っ手を握った者である。”（第2章256節）

 “There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.”(2:256) 

シャハーダによってムスリムとなるとすぐに、私たちがそれまで犯してきた罪は赦され、 

白紙となり、生まれたての赤ちゃんのように新たな人生をスタートさせます。インシャアッラー。 

As soon as you become a Muslim, all your previous sins are forgiven and you start a blank state and a new life like a newborn baby. InshaAllah. 

私は3年前にイスラームの信仰告白（シャハーダ）をモスクでしました。 

アッラーが私たちの新しい旅の中で、これから直面するたくさんのチャレンジを簡単にしてくれますように。 

アッラーが私たちを正しい道へと導いてくれますように。 

アッラーがいつでも私たちを守り、恵みを与えてくれますように。アーミーン。 

 I recited Shahada at a Japanese mosque 3 years ago. 

May Allah ease many challenges which you will face in your new journey. 

May Allah guide you to the right path. 

May Allah always protect you and bless you. Āmīn.
