Assalamualaikum!

今回からは改宗したばかりのニュームスリムの皆さんに尋ねられることの中の一つ、

イスラームの勉強方法についてお答えします！

インシャアッラー。

From this column, I’ll answer the question from new Muslims about the different ways of studying Islam. 

InshaAllah.

内容に入る前に、私が現在何をしているかの紹介と、イスラームの勉強を本格的にするに至った経緯をお話ししたいと思います。

Before I talk about it, I want to tell you what I am doing now and why I started to learn Islamic Studies.

ー

私は英国で主婦をしながら、イスラーム学を学んでいる学生です。

I am a wife and student of knowledge in the UK.

日本でイスラームに改宗してから一年目は、ムスリムとして生活することに慣れることと、

家族に信仰を理解してもらうようにすることで精一杯でした。

また、社会人一年目だったので、とても忙しい一年間でした。

1st year after I became a Muslimah, I was very busy with getting used to life as a Muslim and explaining my faith to my family, and I started to work.

二年目になると、家族からの理解も増え、ムスリムとしての生活にも仕事にも慣れてきたのでそれ以外のことを考える余裕もできました。

同時に素晴らしい結婚相手にも出会うことができました。

In my 2nd year, since my family were getting to understand me and I got used to my new job and life as a Muslimah, I could afford to think about something else. 

This is when I could meet my amazing husband as well.
