アッサラームアレイクム！！

Assalamualaikum!!

イードムバラク！

イードおめでとうございます。

1ヶ月の断食とイバーダ、本当にお疲れ様でした。

Eid Mubarak!

I hope you enjoyed your fasting and Ibadah for one month.

私は英国で初めてのラマダーンで、今までで一番断食時間が長かったので今回の断食は簡単ではありませんでしたが、アッラーが力を与えてくれました。

アルハムドリッラー。

It was my first Ramadan in the UK and also most difficult one in terms of length of fasting.

So, this fasting was not easy, but Allah gave me strength.

Alhamdulillah.

私たちのラマダーン月の努力がアッラーにどうか受け入れられますように。

アーミーン。

May Allah accept our efforts during Ramadan.

Āmīn.

さて、金曜日と重なった今年のイードは晴天でした。

アルハムドリッラー！

By the way, this year’s Eid which was on Friday was a sunny day.

Alhamdulillah.

私は今回、初めて公園で行われる礼拝に参加しました。

バーミンガムのスモールヒースパークという公園で行われた礼拝は、ヨーロッパで最も規模の大きい礼拝です。

昨年は10万6000人の人が集まりましたが、今年は14万人が集まりました。

スブハーナッラー。

このような大人数と礼拝することは今までなかったので、本当に心に残る礼拝になりました。

I joined the Eid prayer, which was held in a park, for the first time in my life.

It was in Small Heath Park, Birmingham and the largest Eid prayer in Europe.

Last year 106,000 people gathered for it, but this year was more than 140,000 people coming there for the prayer.

SubhanAllah.

Since I had never performed the prayer with such a number of people before, I was really moved by it.

会場となったスモールヒースはバーミンガムの一地区であり、住民の95パーセント以上がムスリムです。

ムスリムマイノリティの国にありながら、このような環境があというのは私のような日本の改宗ムスリムにとって夢のようです！

イードの当日は公園が飾り付けされていて、ムスリムでないイギリス人の方々もイードのお祝いのために協力してくれています。

電車の中や街で歩いてると「イードムバラク！」とムスリム・ノンムスリム問わず声をかけてもらえました。

マシャアッラー！

Small Health is an area which has more than 95% Muslim population. 

Even though it is located in a Muslim minority country, there is such a place.

It’s like a dream for me as a Japanese Muslim.

On the Eid day, the park was decorated and non-Muslim British people also help us celebrate it.

When I was on the train and walking on the street, many random Muslim and non-Muslim people said to me Eid Mubarak.

MashaAllah.

イード礼拝がおこわなれる会場の横には移動式遊園地やハラール料理屋台、ムスリム用のヒジャーブや洋服の店が設置されており、お子さんがいる方も公園で十分イードを楽しめます。

There was a funfair and Halal stall, hijab and Muslim dress stores next to the prayer space in the park. People who have kids could also enjoy Eid very much.

毎年、ここのイード礼拝の規模は大きくなっているそうです。
